World of Hire Pty Ltd also trading as The Pump Shop and Safari World Hunting Trekking & Photographic, was incorporated in July 1989 in Armidale NSW by local couple, Michael John Blenman and Barbara Ann Blenman. The purpose of the company at this time was to supply a broad based clientele hire product in the fields of building & contractors, handymen and party equipment and to supply pumps and irrigation product to end users.

After close to a decade in successfully building the business from scratch, it was identified that more services were required by our clientele and the decision was made to expand into different areas of operation. This is when Safari World Hunting Trekking and Photographic was developed. Another decade down the track and all 3 areas of the business are still expanding.

Our distribution district covers Armidale, Guyra, Walcha, Uralla, Inverell, Moree, Glen Innes, Tenterfield, Tamworth and Dorrigo, but now with the use of the internet, we hope to expand even further.
